Welcome to HalalOne ("HalalOne", "we", "us" or "our"), an app operated by MatzSolution.
HalalOne helps you check whether food and other products are halal. You can scan a barcode, search for a product, or ask our AI assistant about a product or its ingredients, and HalalOne explains what it finds.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, keep and protect information when you use the HalalOne app, website and related services. By using HalalOne, you acknowledge the practices described here.
Guidance, not a religious ruling. HalalOne's results are based on available ingredient, product and certification information, which can be incomplete or change when manufacturers update a product. They are informational and are not a fatwa or official halal certification. Always check the product's packaging and certification mark, and consult a qualified scholar or certifying body when in doubt.
2.Information we collect
Depending on how you use HalalOne, we may collect information you give us and information created when you use the service.
2.1 Account information
If you create an account, we may collect:
- Your name and email address
- Sign-in and authentication information
- Preferences you choose in the app
2.2 AI assistant conversations
When you chat with the HalalOne assistant, we process your messages to answer your questions about products and ingredients, and we keep your conversation history so you can continue where you left off. Your messages may be processed by third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf. Please don't share personal or sensitive information that isn't needed to answer your question.
2.3 Product scans, searches and photos
When you scan a barcode, search for a product, or share a photo of a product label or ingredient list, we process that information to identify the product and check its halal status. To answer some questions, HalalOne may also search public sources on the web; these searches are based on the product, not on your personal details.
2.4 Usage and technical information
We process basic technical information such as device and browser type, operating system, app version, request and error logs, and how features are used. We use this to run, secure, troubleshoot and improve the service.
2.5 Product data
Product, ingredient and certification information shown in HalalOne comes from product databases, public sources and certifying bodies. This is information about products, not personal information about you.
3.How we use information
- To create and manage your account and keep it secure.
- To provide HalalOne's features, including barcode scanning, product search and the AI assistant.
- To identify products and explain their halal status and ingredients.
- To keep your conversation history available to you.
- To maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and improve the app's reliability and quality.

We do not sell your personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

We share information only with service providers that help us run HalalOne, such as hosting, authentication, database, search and AI processing providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process or a government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of our users, the public or HalalOne.
5.Third-party services
HalalOne relies on third-party providers for authentication, data storage, hosting, search and AI features. These providers process certain information under their own privacy policies and their agreements with us. The providers we use may change over time as we maintain and improve the service.
6.Account and data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Please keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you think someone accessed your account without permission. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.Data retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide HalalOne, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and are then deleted. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8.Account deletion
You can delete your account and its associated personal information at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing claudematz456@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. Some information may be kept where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud or abuse.
9.Children's privacy
HalalOne is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10.Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
11.App permissions
HalalOne asks for device permissions only when a feature needs them. For example, camera access is used to scan barcodes or photograph a product label, and photo library access is used only if you choose to upload an image. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working without them.
12.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to HalalOne, technology, legal requirements or our practices. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please review it from time to time.
